SORTING YOUR RESULTS When looking a trainer’s history in the Trainer Pattern Tool, you can sort your results for each category by clicking on the Category header. For example, if you want to sort by “Jockey,” click the word “Jockey.”
If you want to further sort your results by a second category, simply do the following: Notice in each category header there is a vertical line. By clicking on the right side of this vertical line, you will make this your secondary category (or "sub-category"). You can do this for as many sub-categories as you choose.
After you assign a sub-category and a number is shown in the header, clicking the number again will toggle the ascending/descending sort for the individual columns.
To reset your sorting preference, simply click any category header – this will remove all secondary categories and sort by the category you have just clicked.
Example: Suppose you want to sort David Fawkes runners by the “Days Off” category – simply click the word “Days Off.” This shows you that he’s had 55 horses run on exactly 14 days rest. By making “Official Finish” your secondary sorting category, you can now easily see that 11 of these horses have won, four have finished second, and five have finished third.
